What we look for

Membership Is Built Around Purpose and Professionalism

ILEETA members are expected to support the development of others and contribute to a professional culture of learning, ethical conduct, collaboration, and continual improvement.

  • Actively support the mission of improving law enforcement training and education.
  • Demonstrate a professional and ethical commitment to developing others.
  • Value collaboration, candid discussion, and the sharing of better practices.

Conference Attendance and Membership

The ILEETA Conference & Expo is designed primarily for ILEETA members. Eligible non-members may attend through an agency-sponsored registration option that includes an additional $100 administrative fee. In most cases, becoming a member provides the strongest value and the fullest connection to the ILEETA community.

Still unsure?

Ask Us Before You Count Yourself Out

ILEETA would rather welcome a qualified member of the training community than have someone stay away because they were uncertain about how the eligibility language applied to their role.
