Chuck Mader had over thirty years of progressive experience in the law enforcement profession. His experience included duty assignments as a uniform patrol officer; juvenile officer; detective; detective/sergeant; detective/commander; operations commander; and deputy chief. Chuck was also been a sworn police officer for the Village of Bloomingdale since 1973 and would eventually serve as the Deputy Chief, serving as second-in-command of the police department. His responsibilities in this position involved the coordination of the three major divisions (Patrol Division, Criminal Investigations/Youth Division and Administrative Services Division). Chuck was also the Range Master; Defensive Tactics Coordinator; Director of the Physical Fitness Program; Tactical Response Team Commander; and Training Director.
